Perfect for complete beginners

The design of this app is pretty and at first the lessons are fun but then the problems start. I bought several courses and with the newest version of the app I cannot download them at once but in order to use the app without internet connection. That sucks I don’t have internet all the time! You cannot save vocabulary to a list, only if you pay extra for a premium membership. I mean come on vocabulary is the basic and I already paid for the courses. And please stop annoying me with this membership all the time. It pops up, sends you mails and push notifications all the time. I can really not recommend the app as it is. Don´t like it and will delete it now.

Like the app, learning French with the same app. But unfortunately the portuguese app teaches Brazilian Portuguese, not the original pronunciations...

Easy to use interface Well organized lessons and vocabulary

App has a good assortment of lessons and works well with the associated website.

Cant login or do anything. iOS 4.2. I have working Internet access.

This is great. I wish there were more lessons about grammar.

learning some basic Portuguese using this app has been easy so far, there are native sounding speakers and my friend who is Brazilian says my accent is good so the nothing that I paid is paying off ;) fairly interactive and good lessons with pictures tests and more!

Who knew you could learn a language on your phone? I think I like the drills of Pimsleur and the verb conjugation of Michel Thomas better but this is pretty damn good

Fantastic -- this app is helping me quickly learn Portuguese. Not only do I get to hear the words but can reinforce my learning with timely practice. Best free app Ive found; am seriously considering buying the full version to unlock those other lessons! Please add Mozambique pronunciation -- would be good to know if I will be understandable...

Its a really good app

Just downloaded it and started on the first exercise. The presentation is well done and easy to navigate. The fact that both audio and text are free is pretty awesome! Will find out how well the structure is as I advance. So far it looks pretty solid.

Good tool, interactive with a lot of vocabulary. With the IPhone app, I can study Portugese on the go and save time. So practical!
